Elyse Fontanilla


Elyse is a legal assistant at Leiva Law Firm. She joined the firm in November of 2011 and has always been dedicated to providing clients with strong personal support and guidance throughout their immigration case. Ms. Fontanilla is involved in almost all areas of immigration law, which include Family-based Petitions, Adjustment of Status Applications, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, K1 Fiancé Visas, Consular Processing Support, Application for Naturalization and Citizenship, Military Parole in Place, and Advance Parole.


Ms. Fontanilla is passionate about keeping families together and reuniting them after years of being separated. Moreover, Ms. Fontanilla specializes in helping current and former U.S. Military with Military Parole in Place, a special program that congress set up to help military families obtain legal permanent residence. She has a high regard to customer service and navigating clients through the complicated world of immigration.


Ms. Fontanilla is a San Francisco native and alumnus of San Jose State University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts and Applied Sciences in Justice Studies.
